Memorial Day stay

Cabin was great and had everything we needed. Perfect for six adults with plenty of space. The screened in porch was wonderful and the fire pit was perfect. Close to the lake and not far from town. Relaxing and fun for our entire group! 

Patoka Lake

The cabin decor was good....Kitchen area was outstanding.Parking was a struggle for a bass boat. Teflon skillets were needed....everything stuck with the stainless steel.The hot tub, screened in front porch, and fire pit were exceptional. Thank you for a lovely stay. (Owner reply: We have expanded the driveway and added non-stick skillets.)

It was a great weekend get away for the family to rejuvenate. The place was clean and very nice. It was everything we were looking for! Kinda loved the bunk beds.

Ric was a wonderful host and the cabin was a perfect getaway. The checkin process was seamless and the cabin was very clean. The location is perfect for some privacy yet close to the winery and brewery. We highly recommend this cabin!

We had such a good time at this property! We had 2 families of 4 (4 kids under 5) and it was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone. Ric was an excellent host and updated us about the property ahead of our scheduled booking (there had been an ice storm). I really appreciated the transparency. Would highly recommend!

Great vacation spot

We had a great time enjoying this cabin and fires around the fire pit. Not far from all the activities we had planned in French lick.

A group of guy friends stayed here near Patoka lake so we could rent a boat. The cabin is very close to the marina. This cabin was stocked with just about everything we needed so that was really refreshing. The air conditioning and all appliances worked flawlessly. It was obvious the owner took pride in the property. There are multiple cabins in the area but there is enough woods that it still felt secluded. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin close to the lake

Our family stayed at this cabin for the Holiday weekend. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for all of us. Great location! Close to the winery, brewery and lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Family getaway

Three generations gathered at Ric’s home for a short getaway. The location was beautiful and close to Patoka State Park, a true gem. We enjoyed coffee on the screened-in porch in the morning, and relaxed in the hot tub after each day’s activities. There was plenty of room for the six of us, and Ric was very helpful and easy to communicate with every step of the way.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! Had room for everyone. Had everything you need to cook and more! They even have a Whirley Pop to make stovetop popcorn (next time we will bring popcorn kernels to enjoy that!).

Great place- close to French Lick

We had a great stay here! The kids loved roasting marshmallows every night on the fire! Loved the hot tub! We had a great time with family and there was plenty of room for all of us!! It is also close to all attractions! Would definitely recommend!  

Charming neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay last year so much that we visited this cabin again. Very nice property, with a quiet and nice neighborhood. The trailhead for the hiking trails near Patoka lake is only 10 minutes driving. I highly recommend doing those trails, passing by the Totem rock, it is a nice scenery.

Thanksgiving 2023

6 adults met for Thanksgiving weekend in a neutral spot. The cabin was perfect- exactly as listed and we liked it so much we wish it were our own! The younger adults enjoyed the hot tub and the board games. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Cabin

We had a great little get away. The cabin is in a nice area with privacy yet conveniences. Patoka Lake is beautiful.
